You will be living at the heart of Oxford in individual rooms in our campus at Exeter College.
Please note that the summer
school
is an organisation which contracts with the College for the use of
facilities, but which has no formal connection with The University of
Oxford.
Exeter College
Exeter College is one of the colleges that make up the
University of Oxford. The college is full of history, being Oxford’s fourth
oldest college.
Exeter was founded by Walter de Stapeldon, during the
reign of King Edward II of England, and we’ll be based at the aptly named
Stapeldon Annex.
J.R.R. Tolkien, Alan Bennett, Philip Pullman, the
former President of Ghana John Kufuor, and many other famous names have
graced the college.

Stapeldon Annex is in a peaceful and safe area, at the heart of historic Oxford and a short walk from the city centre. Students will be well looked after by our staff team, including Kit our Housemistress.
As part of the university and independent living experience, each student will have their own room. There is a games room complete with television and magazines for relaxation time, and there is a beautiful garden around the back of the Annex.
